Can you go on xbox live with an Arcade console pack?
I recently got the Arcade box set for £150 from Argos (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9009466/Trail/searchtext%3EXBOX.htm) and I’m now worried cause my partner (it’s his surprise bday pressie) likes to go on xbox online.. if he has a harddrive (I think this is what it is, basically we’ve got loads of cd’s loaded onto his xbox and we can play them through the telly and the top bit comes off…) from his previous xbox- about 3 years old- will he be able to go online if i buy him the years subscription thing? So would this be compatable with the online gaming?

Yes, the Arcade can go on Live. You can take the hard drive from his old 360 and use it on the new one.
