On the original Sony PSP, what is the small plug hole located next to the headphones jack for?

it looks like the video output like on the newer slim versions of psp, is there a cord to use for this?, the newer video output cords don’t work on it though

the hole next to the headphone jack is for the music controller which comes in the Value pack….it just controls music like next, play volume up and down
