Nintendo DS / Lite / Game Boy / Advance question / comparrison?
Want to buy my son a personal gaming system (7 years). What is the difference between the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, DS and DS Lite? This is what I believe – the Game Boy is an older generation of the system and should not be considered. My real question then is the "lite" moniker. For me "lite" implies a reduced functionality version, but I see a 'regular' DS anywhere. Someone please explain. In addition, the beams, it is worth? What do I want with it? Do I need to connect? We use rechargeable AA / AAA, so if you run into these and life is good, then I do not need a car charger or something. Do you have to play games only or also for DS Lite Game Boy titles? Thanks in advance for the help.
Both the regular DS and DS Lite do exactly the same (they play the same games and have the same characteristics, in the area that nothing has changed). The DS Lite is lighter, has a much, much brighter screen, better sylus included, is smaller and looks more elegant. The DS Lite plays all Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance. It works with a built-in rechargeable battery so all you need is the charger (included), needs no batteries new. Game Boy Advance and Game Boy is not worth analyzing, as are the last generation and are nowhere near as good as the DS Lite. With DS you can play all the Game Boy Advance Games and the new DS games. The DS Lite is basically a redesign of the normal DS and maintains the same functionality, but does it better. Packages for the DS Lite should be very good, try GAME, Gamestation and Amazon.co.uk
