Basically, I'm looking for a high quality solution camera for under £ 600, and wondered if a good, a new HD camera like the Sony SR11 would be as good as an old man like the Canon XL1. Thanks in advance.
It's a tough …. The general trend is that everyone thinks they need HD immediately. After all, its highest resolution. Hence, is a better camera, right? Well, not so simple. Of course consumer HD cameras are cheaper, more portable and have higher resolution, but I do not sd prosumer cameras regarded as obsolete yet … In reality there are many advantages to prosumer cameras: 1) hand … Today, it is impossible to find good manual controls in a camera under $ 1,500 and can be a serious problem for some. For many, it is very important because they need to be able to manipulate his image. For others, it does not really matter because they want something easy to use. We want the camera to do all the work for them. And if that's the case, that's completely fine. That is what the HD cameras are for consumers. So, in summary, Prosumer cams have better ergonomics. 2) image sensors larger / More image sensors: In the discussion of image sensors, cameras Prosumer win.They have more sensors and are generally also the largest.
